Theresa “Miss Tee” Romack, professionally known as DANiiVORY, is a passionate musician, educator, and performer with a rich musical background. Growing up in a musically gifted household, she received her first piano and voice lessons from her mother—a liturgical musician, pianist, choir director, and music director. Hailing from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, also known as the Black and Gold City of Champions, Theresa’s musical journey began early. By the age of eight, she was competing in youth guild piano competitions, laying the foundation for a lifelong career in music.
As a young vocalist, she performed with the Pittsburgh Youth Chorus and later joined The Junior Mendelssohn under the direction of renowned conductor Robert Page. By 10th grade, Theresa had already established herself as a dedicated music teacher, managing a roster of 10 private piano students while also accompanying the North Allegheny Chorus and singing in the NA Madrigal Choir.
Her dedication to music earned her a scholarship to Mary Pappert School of Music at Duquesne University, where she studied Classical Vocal Performance for a year before transferring to Berklee College of Music on a full scholarship in Vocal Performance and Contemporary Writing & Production.
Following her graduation, Theresa moved to Los Angeles and built an impressive career as a touring keyboardist and backing vocalist for some of the biggest names in the industry, including Beyoncé, Cee Lo Green, Vance Joy, and Imagine Dragons. Despite her demanding tour schedule, she remained committed to education, continuing to teach private voice and piano lessons.
In 2019, Theresa relocated to Nashville, where she taught at Franklin Brentwood Arts Academy and ROOTS, helping to shape the next generation of musicians. During the pandemic, she obtained her professional teaching certification in Tennessee, expanding her impact by bringing music education to public schools.
In late 2021, Theresa, now known as Miss Tee, settled in Hendersonville, where she continues to teach private piano, voice, Ukulele, and gui lessons from her home studio. She also leads Little Folkies, a joyful group music class for children ages 0-5, fostering a love for music from the earliest stages of life.
With a deep-rooted passion for both performance and education, Theresa is dedicated to inspiring and nurturing musicians of all ages and skill levels, helping them develop confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love for music.
